Alhaji Barry, in a statement issued, yesterday and copied to the Daily Graphic, noted that the practice was disturbing and also destabilising the fortunes of the various national teams.

He noted that it was high time coaches such as Abubakar Yusif, Tanko Shaibu and Solomon Odwo were given the opportunity to handle the national teams.

"The GFA's habit of recycling coaches of the various national teams is, in fact, very worrying. This is disturbing and is also destabilising the various national teams. "For instance, going by Coach Abubakar Yusif's proven track record in Ghana football, he deserves to handle a national team such as the Black Meteors.” Coach Tanko Shaibu's performance with Hearts of Oak, Amidaus Professionals, Medeama SC, and lately Windy Professionals as well as that of Berekum Chelsea's Solomon Odwo is  of such an opportunity".

Alhaji Barry also advised the GFA to consider the National Sports College at Winneba, aside the Ghanaman School of Soccer Excellence in Prampram, when it comes to finding a suitable camping base for our national teams.

"Why are national players camped only at Prampram? The Winneba Sports College which is being efficiently run by the new Director, Ersamus Adorkor, has the capacity to handle any national team. “Facilities there have been enhanced and they are capable of hosting any team," he emphasised.
