At the end of voting, Arthur secured 26 votes to beat Doe, who had 24.

Arthur will, therefore, represent the region on the next National Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

In a related development, Mr Kojo Yankah has retained his position as chairman of the Western Regional FA.

Delegates endorsed him unanimously after he contested unopposed in the elections held in Takoradi.

Meanwhile, the Greater Accra FA election will take centre stage in Accra on Monday with the incumbent Nii Komiete Doku being challenged by Eugene Jacquaye.
