NWL: Immigration eye Hasaacas’ scalp

Rejuvenated Immigration Ladies hope to capitalise on Hasaacas Ladies’ current topsy-turvy form to claim all three points when they host them on Sunday at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman in the top liner of the Match Day 5 fixtures of the National Women’s League (NWL).

Last season, Immigration recorded their first win against the former champions, beat them in the FA Cup tie, as well as in their home game and will be hoping to get a similar result when they meet this time as Hasaacas are yet to hit form this season.

Last week, Hasaacas were shocked 0-1 at home by visiting LadyStrikers, a result that saw them dropping from the top spot to fourth place, hence the need to up their game if they are to recover.

In the northern zone, the top liner is the clash at the Tamale BATCO Park, where Lepo Ladies and Northern Ladies engage in a local derby, while Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies are poised to push Fabulous Ladies to the wall at the Prempeh College in another local derby on Sunday.

The other matches for the weekend are: Holy Royals versus LadyStrikers at Bakaase, Sea Lions versus Police Ladies at Elmina, Soccer Intellectuals versus Samaria Ladies at Ajumako, Ampem Darkoa Ladies versus Prisons Ladies and Real Upper Ladies versus Ashtown Ladies.
