The winners of the Disciplinary Committee hearing between Tamale Liberty and Wiaga United face Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the pick of matches in the round of 64 pairings of the 2013/2014 MTN FA CUP.
All the 16 Premier League clubs, including defending FA Cup champions, Medeama SC, and two-time losing finalists, Kotoko, who drew byes at the preliminary stage, were handed with different fates at yesterday’s draw at the Ghana Football Association offices in Accra.
Medeama begin their title defence with what appears to be an easy clash aginst second division sideScore FC, while former champion champions Nania FC play DC United.
All 32 matches in this round will be played from December 18 to 23 with home teams entitled to GH¢1,000 as an appearance fee while the away teams receive GH¢1,500.
Each of the 64 teams are also entitled to GH¢1,600 to help purchase jerseys.
According to the draw Premier League strugglers, Inter Allies, play host to Berlin FC, Tudu Mighty Jets engage Mepe United, Tarkwa United versus Kpando Heart of Lions, Rospack FC clash with Right To Dream FC, Bubiashie Charity Stars welcome Liberty Professionals, while the winners of the hearing between Dawenya FC and Royal Faith face Bazooka FC.
Metro SC play Atebubu Esperance, New Edubiase United face Bolga Man City, Ebusua Dwarfs versus First Klass FC, Future Stars against Tano Bofoakwa, Okwawu United clash with Real Atletico, while the winners of the tie between Bolga All Stars and Crystal Palace pla Believers FC.
Other fixtures will see Aduana Stars engage the winners of the disciplinary hearing between Asokwa Deportivo and Dunkwa United while King Faisal play Tuobodom Santos.
Accra Hearts of Oak clash with Gold Stars, Real Tamale United engage UCC Youngstars, Feyenoord Academy host Wa All Stars, Red Lions FC play Binduri United, Berekum Chelsea lock horns with Wenchi United, Starke FC face Sekondi Hasaacas, Kessewa Int. FC play Kotoku Royals, Prestige FC face Istanbul FC, Ashgold play B.A United and Tema-based Amidaus Professionals face Danbort FC.
