Fabulous Asante Kotoko, yet again disappointed in their CAF Champions League campaign, will now redirect their energy and focus on the First Capital Plus Premier League when it resumes this weekend.
Kotoko will host Accra Great Olympics in what is likely to be one of the interesting match-ups in the Week 13 fixtures for the competition which went on a break for the continental assignments.
Kotoko, Ghana’s sole representatives in the Champions League, have been eliminated by Algeria’s El Eulma who won 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium after a goalless draw in the first leg in Algiers two weeks ago.
With that assignment over, the Porcupine Warriors are expected to revive their campaign to get back to the top beginning with the game against a rejuvenated Olympics side.
In the other fixtures for Week 13, all to be played on Sunday, Accra Hearts of Oak will host Wa All Stars, WAFA will host B.A United, Chelsea will host Sekondi Hasaacas, Medeama are hosts to Aduana, Heart of Lions will be the guests of Bechem United with Liberty Professionals hosting New Edubiase.
The match between league leaders, Ashantigold, and Inter Allies at the Len Clay Stadium will be played on Saturday.
