Kotoko poised to defeat Hearts on Sunday

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will on Sunday come to a stand still when the two historic and greatest clubs in the country, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak lock horns in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The rivalry between both sides make the match a tough and entertaining one with two of the country’s great clubs set to face each other before an anticipated full capacity stadium in Kumasi.

Coach Didi Dramani of Kotoko has already won the title before playing his fierce rivals, Hearts, but the joy of winning against a long time contender will excite every stakeholder associated with the Fabulous fraternity.

Kotoko currently possess a 10-point lead over their opponents and a win for the visitors will help their quest for a CAF Champions League campaign next season.

Players such as Michael Akuffo, Seidu Bancey, Abeiku Ainooson and Jordan Opoku will all be looking forward to beating the likes of Robin Gnagne, Nuru Sulley, Owusu Bempah and Ashitey Ollenu of the opposite side when they engage each other on Sunday.

As it stands now, the Porcupine Warriors are in good shape to carry the day with their acting Chief Executive, Opoku Nti, predicting a whopping 5-0 victory over the Phobians at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

In other matches, second placed Heart of Lions will battle it out with King Faisal at the Kpando Park. Seventh placed Hasaacas will play relegation threatened Ebusua Dwarfs at the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi while Ashantigold travel to the Carl Reindolf Park at Dansoman to lock horns with Liberty Professionals.

Also, Inter Allies hosts Aduana Stars in Tema, Medeama will travel to play Bechem United in an attempt to save their campaign with Berekum Chelsea set to welcome bottom side Amidaus Professionals.
