Ghanaian midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng, scored a brace as Schalke came from behind to defeat Werder Bremen 3-1 on Saturday.
Werder Bremen had taken the lead in the 23rd minute via a a Felix Kroos strike but Schalke rallied back, with Boateng getting in the equaliser in the 64th minute and adding his second in the 85th minute of the game.
Peruvian International, Jefferson Farfa, then sealed victory for Schalke on 90 minutes.
Schalke’s league rivals, Bayern Munich also defeated FC Augsburg 3-0 to become the first Bundesliga team to record 37 consecutive games unbeaten.
