Ghana and Schalke midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng is said to be heartbroken over an injury that is threatening to rule him out of Ghana’s crucial World Cup play-off against Egypt in Kumasi next Tuesday.
According to Black Stars winger, Dede Ayew, Boateng is “disappointed not to be able to maybe make it.”
“He was looking forward to this game but unfortunately he is injured,” Ayew told the media in Accra.
“We pray he gets better and if he does he will play for us again”, the Olympic Marseille forward added.
Boateng’s injury is expected to deepen the woes of Black Stars Coach, Kwasi Appiah, who has already lost the services of four key players - John Boye, Isaac Vorsah, Jonathan Mensah and Rabiu Mohammed.
