Former Black Stars captain, John Mensah, has paid an amount of GH¢1000 for the upkeep of his children, Footy-Ghana.com has reported.
According to the report, Mensah who is currently embroiled in a divorce case with his estranged wife, Henrietta, at the Accra High Court 10, gave out the amount after the trial judge, Justice Doris Bempong, asked him to provide support for his children’s upkeep.
The report added that Justice Bempong cautioned both John and Henrietta not to grant any interviews to the media until after the resolution of the matter.
Both parties will reportedly attend the next hearing of the case on Tuesday November 5 2013.
