Former Liberty Professionals striker, Mawuli Osei, who now plies his trade with Israeli side Hapoel Ashkelon is eager for a move to a bigger club in Europe after impressing with the Liga Leumit side.
After scoring 13 goals in 11 matches four of which came in their game against Maccabi Umm Al Fahm, the 24-year-old striker is said to be on the radar of many top flight clubs, including Celtic of Scotland.
The manager of the player, Michael Adjei, who disclosed this to the Graphic Sports last Thursday said the player was eager to catch the eye of the Black Stars trainer with his performance for a possible call up to the senior national team.
“Mawuli is in top form now and is ready to serve his nation when given the opportunity into the Black Stars team.”
“As at now, Israeli premiership sides and Celtic are willing to cough out any amount demanded by Hapoel Ashkelon for the striker when the transfer window opens in January” Mr Adjei added.
The striker played third division side Fulham FC in Ghana before moving to Israel to play for Hapoel Ashkelon in 2011.
