Hearts set 11-point success agenda

David Duncan, Hearts CoachAccra Hearts of Oak have drawn up an 11-point indicator to bolster the club’s fortunes in the next three years.

Disclosing this to the media yesterday at the club’s secretariat in Accra, the Managing Director of the club, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, said winning laurels on the field of play was the first of the indicators.

“We also need a stronger brand identity and merchandising drive, a stronger professional outlook and stronger finances,” the Hearts chief told media executive personnel at the Hearts Secretariat in Accra.

He noted that Hearts had a very rich history and in that regard, the so-called revolution would be dubbed, “Restoring Phobian Glory’’.

According to him, these three indicators which, will be spearheaded by a yet-to-be-created merchandising unit, will ensure revenues for the club.

The construction of infrastructure and its enhancement, an enhanced sponsorship and the creation of a database of registered fans form the next three.

Future projects for the club, he said, included  a new secretariat, reconstruction of the Pobiman training pitch and a new bus for the club.

Mr Armstrong-Mortagbe outlined the other four as  reorganising chapters,  an energised Hearts Ladies Club, a stronger old players association and the creation of a corporate Phobian network.

He called on all supporters to remain faithful to the club and uphold their relentless support for the club.
