Hearts part ways with Polo

Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with Coach Mohammed Polo as per the terms of his six-month contract which came to an end at the end of the 2013/2014 season.

Polo was handed a letter informing him of the decision on Tuesday afternoon even though his contract officially ended on the last day of the season, June 4.

According to the club’s official website, the letter signed by the Administrative Manager of the club,  Hackman Aidoo, on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, referred to the terms of Coach Mohammed Polo's engagement which specified that he was to be in charge of the team up to the end of the season. 

The club thanked Mohammed Polo for stepping in at a difficult period in the club’s history and doing his best for the team .

The Dribbling Magician  took over from David Duncan, whose contract was terminated in November last year.
