Captain Asamoah Gyan will lead the Stars in their crucial game against Algeria after being declared fit and named in the starting line-up.
The captain's inclusion means he will partner Jordan Ayew in attack with Christian Atsu supporting.
Avram Grant has also made two changes to the squad that featured against Senegal in the opening game, with Afriyie Acquah in to replace Rabiu Mohammed.
Contrary to expectations that Solomon Asante would start, Grant has stuck to his line up, except those two changes.
