Ghana have dropped from the 24th position to 26th in the latest FIFA ranking released Thursday.
The Black Stars, however, remain third in Africa behind Algeria and Ivory Coast.
Germany lead in the global ranking followed by Argentina and Belgium in second and third place respectively.
