A delegation from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) was invited for a study visit to Germany, where they held sessions with the organisers of the Bundesliga, the top-flight league in that country.
Led by the GFA President, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi the delegation included Mr Welbeck Abra-Appiah, the Chairman of the Premier League Board, and Mr Isaac Addo, the Deputy General-Secretary in charge of Marketing and Sponsorship. The visit was part of an international study scheme to help improve the Ghana League.
The Vice-President of the League Association Board of the Bundesliga, Peter Peters, who also holds the position of the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board, took the delegation through their operations.
The study visit gave both sides the opportunity to share their ideas and thoughts on a variety of topics, including the organisation, marketing and sponsorship of football.
