Fetteh Feyenoord secured a vital 1-0 win in their opening Middle League game against Eleven Wise at the Tema Park to the disappointment of Coach Angelo Dedon Arkhurst.
A 66th minute strike by Samuel Tetteh was all that the Gomoa lads needed to secure a good start for a return to the premiership.
Buoyed by their fans, Eleven Wise made their first attempt at goal but James Bissue’s shot was superbly saved by Feyenoord’s goalkeeper Theophilus Jackson.
Wise defender Andrews Amoo Gyim, on the 20th minute, denied Feyenoord a great clearance after goalkeeper Stephen Enchill had been displaced after being played through by Bissue.
Wise almost equalised in added time when Justice Blay hit the cross bar after he was gifted a lose ball in a goalmouth melee.
