Eight players of King Faisal FC are said to be injured after their team bus got involved in a motor crash Friday morning.
According to a report by starrfmonline, other players on board the bus also sustained minor injuries.
The report quoted the General Manager of King Faisal, Nana Quakye, as saying that the players are being treated at the hospital.
“Most of them are injured, but they are being taken care of at the hospital,” Quakye was quoted as having said.
The accident reportedly happened at the Angola Market road in Kumasi as the team was heading for training at their Dogomoro Training Centre.
The cause of the crash is not immediately known, according to the report.
