Egypt beat Zambia a 2-0 defeat in a friendly match at the Cairo Air Defense Stadium on Thursday evening as they step up preparations for the second leg of their crucial World Cup qualifying play-off against Ghana.
Amr Zaki and Rami Rabia got the goals for the seven-time African Champions.
According to a report by footy-Ghana.com, Coach Bob Bradley made six substitutions in the game, pulling out defender Mohammed Naguib for Sherif Abdul Fadil and replacing Mohammed Abdul Shafy with Sayed Moawad.
The American also brought on Kahraba for goal scorer Rami Rabia and pulled out Mohamed AbouTrika for Ahmed Eid. Mohammed Salah was replaced by Shikabala while FC Basel’s Mohammed El Nenny came on for Amr Zaki.
Egypt lost the first leg 6-1 in Kumasi, and will need to score five unanswered goals against Ghana to advance.
