Ghana international Andre Ayew has been voted as the Best Player of Olympique Marseille for the month of April.
The 24-year-old has been the most in-form player of the season for Les Phoceens although the Ligue 1 side have been struggling to book a place for European competitions.
Ayew polled 45 per cent of the votes to beat Pierre-Andre Gignac who had won it for the last three months and Sabri Khalifa.
This is the second time this season that the Ghanaian has won the award as he was voted Marseille player of the month for October.
Marseille defeated Ajaccio 3-1, thanks to a hat-trick from Ayew after five matches without a win in Ligue 1.
He also gave assists in the matches against Reims and Montpellier which ended 1-1 and 2-3 respectively.
The trophy will be given to him before the match against Olympique Lyon on Sunday at the Stade Velodrome.
Ayew has scored five goals in 22 league games. Marseille are currently sixth on the log with 53 points, five points behind Lyon in fifth place for Europa league slot.
