Black Stars deputy captain Dede Ayew remains in contention for the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2015 award.

Dede has been selected in the final list of five contenders for the enviable title, along with Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Yacine Brahimi of Algeria, Senegal's Sadio Mane and Yaya Toure of Cote d’Ivoire.
The winner will be announced on Friday, December 11, after collation of fans votes
