Arsenal will face last season's finalists Borussia Dortmund, and have tricky ties against Olympique Marseille and former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez's Napoli to contend with.
Celtic came through qualifying in dramatic circumstances last Wednesday night, and their reward for making the group phase are clashes with Barcelona, AC Milan and Ajax — who have 15 competition wins between them.
City have Pep Guardiola's Bayern, CSKA Moscow and Viktoria Plzen and avoided a group of death.
Moyes' United will face Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen and Real Sociedad, while 2012 Champions League winners Chelsea have FC Basel and Steaua Bucarest - two of the teams they defeated en route to lifting the Europa League last season - and Schalke.
