Brazil 2014: Black Stars gear up in Miami

Ghana’s Black Stars started the final leg of their World Cup build-up last Monday evening in Miami where Kwasi Appiah’s 23-man squad has pitched camp.

The players spent the best part of Monday morning resting after arriving in the United States on Sunday evening, having flown from Rotterdam after their 0-1 defeat to Holland in an international friendly last Saturday.

But in the evening on the Florida International University field,  Appiah and his boys had their first training session.

The Stars are due to spend a week in Miami where they will play their final warm-up game against South Korea on Monday.

Ghana's World Cup Group G campaign kicks off against the United States on June 16, before facing Germany and Portugal.
