Karim Benzema has added to Real Madrid's injury woes ahead of their Champions League clash with Atletico at the Bernabeu tonight.
The French striker picked up a knee injury in the first-leg at the Vicente Calderon last week, and subsequently missed Real's La Liga victory over Malaga last Saturday.
After a failed bid to return to training, Benzema underwent tests yesterday which confirmed he had sprained a ligament in his right knee.
The club confirmed the striker would be further assessed to determine how long he will be out but the news is the latest blow for boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Both Gareth Bale and Luka Modric limped off during last Saturday's 3-1 victory and will play no part at the Bernabeu.
