Karela United’s new signing, Bennett Ofori Ansu says his aim is to help the club beat off the relegation threat and remain in the Ghana Premier League when organised football returns.
The talented midfielder is among players signed recently by the Nzema-based club to help them as they seek to haul themselves from the bottom rungs of the league leader.
Ansu told the Graphic Sports that he was fired up for the task ahead and would do his best to help the club maintain its top-flight status.
"I just wish to have a good start at Karela and make things happen. My dream is to help the team get out of the relegation zone and I know I can do that," said the former player of Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC.
"I previously had a great experience at Kotoko and I learnt lots of things there before going to play in Turkey. I hope with this experience, I can help the team in this tough time."
Ansu further urged the fans of Karela to expect the best from him as he had displayed everywhere he had featured.
"The fans should look forward to getting the best out of me. I will give my all as I have done for all the clubs I have played for. Karela is a great team and we shall surely stay in the league," he added.
Karela lie in the 17th position on the Premier League log, five points adrift of bottom-placed King Faisal.
