Ghana coach, Kwasi Appiah, has heaped praises of midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah, describing him as a versatile player who can play in any position on the field except as a goalkeeper.
Appiah said Asamoah could be used in the left back position at Brazil 2014, if there was a need to so so.
“Kwadwo Asamoah is one of the players that you can put him in any position apart from the goalpost,” Appiah said at a press conference ahead of the South Korea friendly on Monday. “With him [Asamoah], I normally don't have much of a problem.”
He added: “I can tell him to play this role or the other. He is so versatile and can play anywhere.”
The Juventus midfielder, who has often been used as a left back at his club, will be making his second World Cup appearance in Brazil.
