Tanko Abu Seidu Barry, a sports administrator, believes Coach Kwesi Appiah could make a sensational return to the Black Stars in the near future.
Barry, citing the examples of Mohammed Polo and Herbert Addo, who returned to Accra Hearts of Oak for second stints, advised Appiah to accept whatever financial package being offered him and use it to improve himself as a coach in order to facilitate a quick return to the Ghana national team.
“Polo left Hearts under similar circumstances in 1985 but returned after Coach David Duncan was dismissed.
“Similarly, Coach Addo also returned to Hearts this year after he did wonders with Inter Allies. In the past, they said he was too defensive but look at how he was welcomed on his return,” he added.
Mr Barry predicted that Appiah’s second spell would be more successful than the first.
