The Black Stars of Ghana have beaten the Desert Warriors of Algeria 1-0 in their second group game of the ongoing AFCON 2015 tournament.
With the scores still 0-0 after 90 minutes, Ghana broke the deadlock in the third minute of extra time, with striker Asamoah Gyan beating one defender to put the ball past a hapless Algeria goalkeeper.
Having secured the three points at stake, the Black Stars are in a very strong position to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Ghana play South Africa in their final group game.
