X-Plosive Fight Night - Obodai, Kautondokwa promise ‘war’ tonight
The two fighters set to slug it out for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Organisation’s (WBO) Africa Middleweight Championship are both promising ‘war’ in the ring when they clash at the Bukom Boxing Arena this evening.

While Ghanaian Middleweight boxer, Obodai Sai, has vowed to end undefeated Namibian pugilist Walter Kautondokwa's dominance in the division on the continent, the Namibian insists Obodai should be prepared for a beating when he mounts the ring against him.
Sai, who boasts of 32 wins in 35 bouts with 25 by way of knockouts, promised to add Kautondokwa to his casualties with his undefeated record on home soil.
The Ghanaian, keen on a world title challenge, expressed his readiness to use this fight as an opportunity to realise his dreams of becoming a world champion.
Both fighters yesterday addressed the media at the weigh-in session for their world eliminator bout dubbed ‘‘X-Plosive Fight Night’ and promoted by Lions Boxing Promotions and Entertainment at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Sai said: "I am ready to end his dominance on the continent by defeating him. He has survived in other bouts but not the one against me.
"He will be added to my list of fighters I have conquered at the end of the bout. I promise he will not travel all the rounds," he added.
Sai's opponent, Kautondokwa, who boasts of 14 wins from 14 fights, 13 having been delievered by knockout, has warned the host to expect ‘war’ in the ring tonight as his records speak for him and he is keen on returning home still a champion unbeaten
Kautondokwa said: "I want my opponent to understand that I am in this country for the title and I will do just that".
"I am not and will never be intimidated by his support base in Ghana since I don't understand what they are saying. He should expect war in the ring when we both clash," he added.
