In what has been billed a clash of iron ladies, the 24-year-old fights Dahianna Santana of the Dominican Republic for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) female featherweight title in Accra on April 25.

But the tough-talking Nigerian, who stopped Mariana Gulyas in 28 seconds to win the IBF Inter-continental title at the Accra Stadium in May last year, says her best is yet to come.

Joseph, managed and promoted by Ghanaian boxing promoters, GoldenMike Promotions and affiliate interests, has campaigned in Ghanaian rings over the past two years.

Her first round victory over Gulyas following just a single blow earned international recognition and seems to have directly resulted in the world title chance.

Her opponent, Santana, is an experienced 29-year-old with a fight record of 32-6 (14KOs) as against Joseph's modest record of 12-2-1 ( seven KOs).

Promoters GoldenMike Promotions have also lined up local-flavoured fights to spice the bill. These include Ayi Bruce versus James Onyango for the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) International lightweight title; Benjamin Ashley versus Ebenezer Lamptey in a Commonwealth light-welterweight eliminator; Patrick Okine versus Michael Ansah in a super-featherweight contest, while hard puncher and world title prospect George Ashie is also expected to make an appearance.
