Boxing fireworks at Nima August 16

JospehThe Nima-Frankies arena will witness an unfriendly night on August 16 as some of the nation’s boxing stars take the ring battles there.

Under the banner of All For One Promotion, the night, dubbed “Night of Kalifi”,  to wit, night of strength and power, will witness seven championship bouts.

First will be a West Africa Boxing Union (WABU) middleweight contest between Ernest Amuzu of Fit Square Gym and Baba Musah of Alajo Gym.

A national light-heavyweight championship title bout will see Kwesi Tutu from the Billy Kotey Gym clash with Emmanuel Enim Adjei of Fit Square Gym.

Sagacious Gym’s Kofi Manu will battle Joseph Lamptey of Seconds Out Gym for the national welterweight championship title, while in the national light welterweight championship, Justice Addy of Bronx Gym will battle Roland Mills from Lotto Gold Gym.

The night is billed to reach a crescendo in the final three bouts, which will witness a national super-flyweight championship between Emmanuel Quartey of Fit Square Gym and Raymond Ansah of Lotto Gold Gym.

Amateur-turned-professional, Offei Dodoo, of Attoh Quarshie Gym, will lock horns with Moses Dodzi of Lotto Gold Gym for the vacant lightweight title.

The final bout will witness a batamweight contest between Isaac Owusu of Lotto Gold Gym and Michael Barnor of Attoh Quarshie Gym.
