Reject Bawumia to bring economy back to life - Mahama
The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has called on voters to reject Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia in the December polls to enable an economic recovery under an NDC-led government.
He stated that a vote for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate would signify an endorsement of continued hardship and economic mismanagement.

“A vote for Bawumia means you are happy with the mismanagement of our finances, our increased debt stock, and the current sufferings. So, if you are displeased with what is happening, you’ll have to vote them out of office,” he said.
Mr. Mahama, who is on a two-day campaign tour of the Western North Region, was speaking during a community engagement in Enchi in the Aowin constituency on Wednesday, marking the start of his tour of the region.
The former President argued that retaining the NPP, which he claimed had failed in governance, would mean supporting the economic mismanagement led by Dr Bawumia, the Chairman of the Economic Management Team.
He reminded the gathering of the current economic hardships and assured them of better days under an NDC-led government.
“The economy is tough for Ghanaians, including businesspersons who are experiencing sluggish growth in their businesses,” Mr. Mahama said.
