PNC National Youth Organiser campaigns for Akufo-Addo

 Madam Agnes Atayela, the Upper East Regional Chairperson of the PNC had also made a strong call for the removal of her party’s flag bearer because the long standing suspicions some party faithful held against him seemed to come to pass.

She expressed fury at the flag bearer and said since he was made the leader, everything seemed to go wrong in the party, mentioning the flag bearer’s ineptitude and deliberate attempt to kill the party by flirting with the NDC.

Addressing the NPP rally at Mankesim, Mr Ramadan reiterated his point that at the presidential debate instead of telling the good story of the PNC to secure votes to win the elections, Mr Ayariga was doing the bidding of the NDC and attacking the NPP which was not in power.

He said Ghana was at the crossroads and required a leader whose vision and ideas would inure to the benefits of the people of Ghana, especially the youth and added that “ I am urging the youth of this country to vote for the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo”.

Nana Akufo-Addo said the current law on basic education would be redefined to ensure that instead of starting from kindergarten to junior high school, basic education under an NPP administration would begin from kindergarten to senior high school all free of charge.

He said it would not auger well for the peace and cohesion of this country if education, especially at the senior high school level was to become the preserve of only those who could afford it, leaving the majority of others whose parents have no means of financing their education to be consigned to just sitting at home.

He assured the people that policies initiated by his predecessor, President JA Kufuor, and have been discarded under the NDC would be vigorously pursued, mentioning some of them to include free maternal health care, mass cocoa spraying, increased payment of cocoa bonuses and others.

The NPP presidential candidate said the NDC, which rode on the back of lies and deception, had led the people of Ghana to untold hardship.

President Kufuor reminded the people of the Central Region about the numerous water, road and educational infrastructure projects  his administration undertook.

Referring to the NDC mantra “E dey be keke” which they say by twisting their lips, former President Kufuor turned and said “yebe dii keke”.
