Mr Ntim, who has declared his intention to contest the chairmanship of the party in the forthcoming  elections of the NPP, said the infusion of technology into the operations of the party would put the party in a good position to win the 2016 elections.

He said the hallmark of his administration as a system engineer would be to aggressively pursue the introduction of internet usage in running the affairs of the party. He mentioned database management for storing and sharing of information on the party as the critical area he would pay greater attention to.

He stressed that under his administration, he was determined to reach out to party members in the regions and constituency offices through the internet, as well as  to use technology to monitor elections.

Mr Ntim said he would position the party and party activists to counter any underhand technological manoeuvres from any quarters that could potentially affect  the fortunes and chances of winning the 2016 elections.

In this respect, he said that he had already sought the involvement of external branches of the  party to assist in this endeavour through technology transfer from abroad.

Mr Ntim said it was in view  of  the innovation that he was bringing on board the administration of the NPP that he had launched an official website, www.steventim.com for his campaign as chairman of NPP.

He said he was battle ready with the launch of his official website and declared that it would also be used to withstand any propaganda in the form of cyber warfare that could characterised the 2016 parliamentary and presidential elections.
