Ntim ends campaign tour in three regions of the north

A national chairman aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Stephen Ayesu Ntim, has declared that the unwritten tradition of rewarding long service, dedication and hardwork in the party will be manifested come July 7, 2018 when the party goes for its national delegates conference in Koforidua.

Ending his recent campaign tour to consolidate his gains in the three regions of the north- Northern, Upper West and East - he gave an undertaking that he would continue to work hard to retain political power for the party in the 2020 general election.

He encouraged the party delegates to keep faith with the government to ensure victory 2020 and beyond.

Projects

Mr Ntim enumerated a number of projects he intended embarking on, including the construction of party offices, ensuring power in 2020 and beyond, empowering the executives, welfare packages for the elected executives, as well as the institution of quarterly visitations to the elders of the party as a form of recognition.

He reiterated his commitment to ensure that each constituency would have a well-furnished office for party work.

According to Mr Ntim, it is a common knowledge that he started the office project for constituencies while serving as the National First Vice Chairman, and true to his nature, he would ensure its full implementation when elected as the national chairman.

Tour

The tour, which started in the Upper West Region where he met delegates in their various constituencies to share his vision with them, was described as productive.

He received an overwhelming endorsement from the delegates; a feat which some of the delegates described as further enhancing his dominance in the race for the chairmanship.

Throughout the constituencies he visited, he was given an assurance that “it is his time to be given an opportunity to serve the party in the capacity of national chairman.”

In the Upper East Region, the delegates admonished him to continue working hard for the party.

They also expressed appreciation for his policy of recognising the aged and the sick in the party, since a lot of party members who had made sacrifices for the party over the years had been neglected.

While in the region, he visited a party member who had his leg amputated in the course of his service to the party.

The delegates also stressed the importance for the construction of party offices for the constituencies as it was a major concern to them.

Mr Ntim ended his tour in the Northern Region with excitement as the delegates assured him of their unflinching support.

According to them, he has worked hard enough over the years and so he deserves the position of national chairman.
