NPP organiser tours Volta Region

The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Sammi Awuku, has led a team of NPP members to tour some registration centres and border towns in the Volta Region.

The team, which included the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Perry Kwabla Okudzeto, the NPP UK Organiser, Mr Kwame Boateng and a deputy NPP Director of Communications, Mr Kofi Agyepong, was joined by the Volta Regional Chairman of the party, Mr Makafui Woanya, and his regional executives.

The team visited the Ho Central, the Ho West, Afadzato, Kpando, North Dayi and South Dayi constituencies. Commendation During the visit, he commended the leadership of the party in the region and in the constituencies for their monitoring and performance in ensuring that only qualified Ghanaians who had attained the age of 18 and above registered.

“Their resilience and determination is simply admirable,” he stated. "We want fairness to prevail and won’t compromise on our resolve to ensure we have a credible voters register," he stated.

Mr Awuku said the delegation used the opportunity to also engage the various communities on the need to observe the various safety protocols on COVID-19.
