The “Free Education Prayer Group” of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has organised a peaceful protest march in Kumasi as the party battles in the Supreme Court to overturn the presidential poll results declared by the Electoral Commission (EC).

They held burning candles and placards with messages such as, “We hate calculated delays of judgment”, “God, grant our judges the wisdom of Solomon”, “The battle is still the Lord’s”, “Awofo resu (Parents are wailing)”, “Where is our free SHS?” and “Judges must be bold and fair”.

The protest numbers swelled as they got to the Adum Central Business District. Many traders and artisans who had no electricity to do their business joined in.
