Northern Region NDC appoints campaign team to win all seats,double Mahama’s votes
The Northern Regional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in consultation with the party's National Executive Committee (NEC), has appointed a 15-member 2016 campaign team/task force for the region.

All NDC activists, supporters and sympathisers in the region have also been called upon to support the team to deliver the operation ‘’win all parliamentary seats in the region and double the presidential votes of President John Dramani Mahama’’.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic last Wednesday, the regional secretary of the party, Mr Abdul-Rauf, described the team as formidable.
He said with the support of all members of the party, the team could deliver the target of winning all the 31 parliamentary seats in the region and double the votes for President Mahama.
Campaign team
The campaign team has the Minister of Food and Agriculture and a former Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, as the leader and convener of the team and the party's Northern Regional Chairman, Awudu Sorfo Azorka, as a member.
Other members of the team include the Northern Regional Minister, Mr Abdullah Abubakari, the Northern Regional Secretary, Mr Halid Abdul-Rauf; the Regional Director of Elections/Treasurer, Mr Tanko Rashid Computer; the Regional Organiser, Wumbei A. Godfred; the Regional Women's Organiser, Madam Olivia Hawa Yahaya; the Regional Communications Officer, Abdul-Mumin Alhassan Fuseini, and the Regional Youth Organiser, Alhaji Adam Amin Abiio.
The rest of the members are representatives of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and Members of Parliament (MPs) Caucus, Messrs David Wuni and Bukari Ninkpe, respectively.
The team also has the Minister of Roads and Highways, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, and the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Mr Haruna Iddrisu; Hajia Fati Forgor and Mumuni Memumatu Dela as members.
