He has, therefore, called on Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the President as he continue to transform Ghana's economy.

Mr Debrah said this when he addressed the chiefs and leaders in Wa in the Upper West Region.

The Chief of Staff is in the region to explain the policies outlined in the party's manifesto, which was launched last Saturday in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Mr Debrah is accompanied by the Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji  Amin Amidu Sulemani, and the parliamentary candidates of the constituencies in the region.

He would also address the public and explain in detail the policies the NDC government plans to implement if the party is re-elected in the December 7 polls.

Out of the 11 constituencies in the region, the NDC currently occupies 10. The 11th was won by an independent candidate.

NDC policies will change lives

Mr Debrah said the 2016 Manifesto of the NDC was crafted with the problems and challenges that affect Ghanaians and businesses in mind.

Each of the policies, he said, would address an identified problem in the economy, adding that once it was implemented, the economy would witness a massive growth.

For instance, he said the one tablet policy for each student would allow students to undertake a lot of research and improve their learning which would raise the standard of education in the country.

According to Mr Debrah, the party would not come up with any useless policy.

He, therefore, called on the people of the region to rally behind President Mahama because he would not disappoint them.

Upper West Region determined

The Upper West Regional Minister, Amin Amidu Sulemani, said the party should not be complacent.

He said over the years, efforts had been made to improve the livelihood of the people in the region and that most of them could attest to the changes in their lives.

Alhaji Sulemani said the party was determined and ready to win all the 11 seats in the region this year.
