NDC victory places huge responsibility on President - UDSP leader

He commended the electorate for their invaluable contribution to the whole electoral process, before, during and after the elections, which he said had added value to the fledgling democratic dispensation in the country.

W. O. 1 Tetteh also stressed on the need for consensus to sustain the peace and stability of the country after the general election.

He further commended the Electoral Commission (EC) for the success of the 2012 elections, but asked the commission to take note of the challenges that occurred during the process and improve its performance in future.

He also asked the EC to learn from the hitches that occurred during the election and design measures to prevent such occurrences.

W. O. 1 Tetteh further urged Ghanaians to use the festive occasion to pray for greater endowment of knowledge and wisdom in the governance of the country.
