The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has acquired an uncompleted building in Ho to develop it into a permanent office.

For 24 years, the ruling party had existed without a permanent office for its “World Bank” in Ho, and had faced various forms of embarrassment for operating in rented premises.

But today, it has overcome the challenge by acquiring the building to develop it into a beautiful edifice with 11 rooms at an estimated cost of GH¢450,000 to serve as a permanent office.

At the launch of the Volta Region NDC 2016 campaign task force and the inauguration of a new and permanent office building in Ho last Sunday, the Volta Regional Chairman of NDC, Mr John Gyapong, said the new office was a motivation to achieve target of “one million votes” between President John Dramani Mahama and the next candidate.

The Volta Regional Minister, Ms Helen Adjoa Ntoso, said the region was ready for the campaign and that there were several projects to show that the people had benefited immensely from the government, adding that “we have a message with which to convince the people.”

She appealed to the people to vote for all NDC parliamentary candidates in all constituencies, predicting that there was going to be a big gap in the victory such that there would be no need for any court action.
