NAPO extends warm greetings to Muslims on Eid

The Member of Parliament for the Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has sent warmest wishes to Muslims in the area as they celebrate this year's Eid-Ul-Ashanti.

"The contribution of our Muslim brother and sister towards peaceful co-existence at Manhyia South something that we should all be proud of," he said.

Dr. Prempeh, who is also the Minister of Education, in a message said that it was important for the constituents to leave in harmony irrespective of their religious background.

He said as the MP for the area, he would continue to pursue agenda that would inure to the benefits of all and sundry.

"With unity and tranquility Manhyia South will continue to grow from strength to strength," he said.

He said: "I have personally benefited greatly from wise counseling from the Muslim community and it is something that I cherish."

Dr. Prempeh said that he would continue to consult with the Muslim community to discuss their needs in order not impose projects on them.

"We are one people and must therefore be each other's keeper through prayers and other ways that bring us together," he said.

He urged the Muslim to continue to pray and work towards the good of the Constituency and Ghana as a whole

"On the occasion of the Eid-Ul-Adha, I wish each of our Muslim brothers and sisters well and may His Merciful Allah continue to guide and bless us," he said.
