My energy and strength, plus ETs experience will give Mahama 90% - Sam George

Samuel Nartey George, the youngster who dethroned Ningo-Prampram MP, ET Mensah in a bitter race during the National Democratic Congress’ primary at the weekend, says he would be working together with his adversary to deliver victory for the party.

Sam George and ET Mensah ran an acrimonious campaign ahead of the national primary, a situation that saw their very supporters divided and warlike.

But a day after he upset the carts to dispatch one of NDC’s old stalwarts who has been very much an integral part of the 4th Republican parliament, Sam George told Citi FM in Accra he believes they can work together to deliver a massive victory and wants to immediately embark on an exercise to reconcile and unite the party.

“Honourable ET Mensah remains my father, I am his son, the Team JM for 2016 is Sam George and ET Mensah, together we deliver that… Honourable ET Mensah, he’s got immense experience, I’ve got immense fighting spirit and energy. My energy and strength and his experience will give JM 90 per cent, and will give me as a parliamentary candidate 80 per cent in Ningo-Prampram.

“We’ll work together, its one family, there was no loser yesterday, there was no winner, the NDC won yesterday, and for me, whatever has been said in the past, that one is in the past, I look to the future.
