MP to tackle educational deficiencies in constituency

The MP assured the people that he would use his renewed mandate to work tirelessly in collaboration with stakeholders to improve infrastructural deficits, amenities and social services in the constituency.

He said the government would work to advance its Better Ghana agenda and ensure that all schools under trees were eliminated. He further added that, communities without electricity would be connected to the national grid while youth unemployment would be addressed through skills development.

“Our victory calls for hard work for the next four years if we are to justify the vote of our people....We shall work to advance the Better Ghana agenda by fulfilling our manifesto commitments”, he said.

Mr Chireh thanked the people for giving him yet another opportunity to represent them in Parliament and for ensuring a “one touch” victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said the party had taken note of certain shortcomings during campaigns in the constituency and would address them to avoid future lapses. -GNA
