Mohammed Mumuni’s appointment hailed

According to a statement signed by Mr Colin Essamuah, on behalf of JIAPs, it said “Alhaji Mumuni has distinguished himself in this country as a politician who has held several prominent positions in the government of this country and also as a Member of Parliament.”

It said Mr Mumuni had endeared himself to all with his demeanour, calmness in speech and his measured judgement.

“He is therefore very qualified for this honour done him personally and Ghana at the Yamousoukro Summit,” it stated.

It further said  Mr Mumuni had become the latest in a long chain of distinguished Ghanaians from Dr Alex Quaison-Sackey, Dr Robert Gardiner, Dr Kofi Annan, and Dr Chambas, to lift the flag and image of Ghana high in international circles as they offered unblemished and sterling services to the world community.

The Institute is confident in the abilities of Mr Mumuni to carve a name for himself and his homeland in this new and exciting opportunity to serve mankind, and wish him the very best in his preferment.
