Mahama shocked at death of “my friend JB Danquah"

President John Dramani Mahama has expressed shock at the death of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah, who was killed in his house in the wee hours of Tuesday.

“Received news of my friend Hon. J.B. Danquah Adu's murder with shock. My heart goes out to his siblings, Frank etc, his wife & children,” the President posted  on his Twitter handle.

Joseph Boakye Danquah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) legislator for Abuakwa North, was stabbed to death at his East Legon residence. The police say they suspect foul play and have launched forensic investigations into the case.

Mr Danquah was stabbed multiple times by an unknown assailant (s) at his Shiashie residence in Accra, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

It is suspected that the assailant (s) used a ladder to climb to a roof linking to a terrace and then entered the MP's bedroom through a window and stabbed him.
