Kester Aburam Korankye reports from Kumasi that Mr Mahama expressed his concerns about the growing tensions between Parliament and the Supreme Court and proposed a peaceful solution.
Speaking to members of the clergy at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Mr Mahama said these issues, although could raise emotions, could be resolved through peaceful and political means.
He said if he was president of the country at this moment, he would have brought together leaders from both the majority and minority sides of the house to find solutions outside of the Supreme Court.
The former President emphasised the need for collective action, stating that Ghana cannot afford to fail this time around.
