Lion retains Kpone-Katamanso NDC ticket

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo secured his ticket to seek a fourth term bid in parliament when he won the primaries for Kpone-Katamanso held on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

Mr Afotey-Agbo, alias Lion, polled 3,176 while his contender, Mr Joseph Akuertey-Tettey polled 1,519 votes. 52 votes were rejected.
In the Presidential race, President John Mahama had 4,530 'Yes' votes as against 164 'No' votes.
