Ledzokuku NDC frets over ‘delayed’ results
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ledzokuku constituency of the Greater Accra region has threatened to reject any rigged results of Monday’s constituency polls by the Electoral Commission following what they say are undue delays in the declaration of finals results.
Addressing the press at the collation centre, the constituency Communication Officer of the NDC in Ledzokuku, Emmanuel Mettle-Nunoo said they were sure of victory following their own tabulation from the various polling stations.
Mr. Mettle-Nunoo noted that per their tabulation, their candidate, Benjamin Ayiku Nartey has won the elections with over 2,000 votes margin.

"We have the results and we know the NDC has won both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the constituency.
"As it stands, we find it difficult to understand the delay in declaring the election results but we are sounding a warning to everyone in the constituency that we will not accept any results apart from a win", he noted.
Election results started trickling in from the various polling stations soon after 6pm Monday, however, the EC is yet to declare final results.
