The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kumawu Constituency, Mr Philip Basoah, has advised students to take their studies seriously in order to be globally competitive on the job market.

In his view, education was a catalyst for accelerated development of every nation and therefore urged students to learn hard to attain higher educational laurels to enable them  to take up  future challenges.

Mr Basoah gave the advice when he presented 15 computers and 15 UPS to the Bankoman Senior High School in his constituency at a ceremony witnessed by both students and teachers of the school.

He said he got the items from Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communication (GIFEL) to support teaching and learning in the school.

Mr Basoah announced his adoption of the school and pledged to work hard to support it to become one of the best in the country.

The headmaster of the school, Mr Mohammed Brako, thanked Mr Basoah for the kind gesture.
