Incumbent wins Juaben NPP Parlimentary Primary

The incumbent Member of Parliament for Juaben, Ms Ama Pomaah Boateng Andoh, retained the slot to contest the parliamentary election for the New Patriotic Party at last Saturday constituency primary.

She polled 245 out of the 361 votes cast to beat two other contestants.

Mr Francis K.B. Owusu-Akyaw polled 63 votes while Ms Abena Pokuah Amoah polled 53 votes.

However, before the Electoral Officers could finish counting the ballots, Ms Amoah was nowhere to be found.

Mr Owusu-Akyaw pledged his support for the winner and assured her of his support to ensure that the party wins both the parliamentary and presidential elections.
